Granthi caught watching porn clips in gurdwara - India National News - August 13th , 2009
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/news/india/Granthi-caught-watching-porn-clips-in-gurdwara/articleshow/4883683.cms
LUDHIANA: In an incident that shocked gurdwara goers on Tuesday, a granthi (Sikh priest) was caught watching clips of a porn film on his mobile
phone that was hidden under the table on which he had kept the scripture.
The granthi, who managed to run away after his transgression was noticed, had allegedly been doing this for quite some time. According to sarpanch Amrik Singh of Jhar Sahab, near Ludhiana, the incident came to light in the morning when a faithful praying at the Jhar Sahab gurdwara, managed by SGPC, found granthi Gurpreet Singh ‘‘wasn’t concentrating in the prayers and was rather distracted by something else underneath the table on which the scriptures were placed’’.
‘‘I was shocked to see that the granthi was actually busy seeing pornographic clips on his cellphone that he had cleverly hidden under the table,’’ said Jasbir Singh Gill, one of those praying at the gurdwara. ‘‘I immediately called the head granthi, Jaspal Singh, and we caught the man red-handed.’’
‘‘We have registered an FIR under IPC section 295 (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) against the accused after checking the porn movie clips in his mobile,’’ said Rajesh Kumar, SHO, under whose jurisdiction Jhar Sahab falls. This is the second time in recent days something like this involving a granthi has happened. - On Friday, October 30, 2009 2:09:00 PM, Gur Sikh Siblings said...

How can I use the gurbani font into blogger?? I want to add some things in gurmukhi but i think blogger doesn´t let me do that... If you know how I wish you to reply at my blog.
Also if you want to link my blog into yours feel free! I already linked yours into mine.

Hello I am unable to use any of the templates. When I upload them, I am told
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.

thing is that these templates were created for OLD blogger
when you install it on the new platform it wouldn't work.
you have to choose option where it says something like go to basic/classic/html code or something like that. i think it is at the bottom of the template menu.
this should work
if you still have problems, email me sukhmanik4ur [at] gmail [dot] com
best

Wooohooo! New style - all on one screen - just little scroll for your posts. Not so much space for extra stuff - but maybe you do not even need it? All archives, previous posts and links in drop-down menus.
If you decide to use this template watch out for: long blog title or blog description - they should be able to fit on one line; also choose medium size for images - big horizontal ones might be too wide for this layout. Everything else should be as usual.

1. Right click on the link under the template of your choice.
2. Save As text file (.txt) NOT html!!!!!
3. Go to your dashboard and to template bookmark
4. Highlight EVERYTHING in the input area (CTRL+A) and then wipe out whole thing (DEL). Your posts and comments wouldn't be affected, they are stored separately. And if anything goes wrong you always can go back to your initial Blogger-provided template.
5. Open .txt template file that you saved earlier on your machine.
6. Highlight whole thing by pressing CTRL+A
7. To copy template code press CTRL+C
8. Go to your blogs dashboard template bookmark, insert code into input area (CTRL+V)
9. Click PREVIEW to check if it looks good. If in some case you do not want to change it you could cancel all the changes and restore your original template by hitting CANCEL EDITS.
10. If you are happy with the changes, hit SAVE TEMPLATE CHANGES
11. When screen is reloaded, hit REPUBLISH
Hope this will help

This is a gorgeous template. Would it be possible to have Sri Harimandir Sahib on top (like in your 3 column layout with Harimandir Sahib template) and also have a stationary pic on the side like in this template? I guess that would cut down on sidebar space. Maybe add in a drop down menu from the top in addition to a sidebar? Anyways, I love the picture in this template. Thank you for putting all these up.

I've just finished template for Sikh Society of St George's University of London. You can see their blog here. It was a lot of fun for me, they knew exactly what they wanted, so I had to dig out some stuff and I think it all works well now.
Above there are two versions of template that I've completed for them. I really like the blue and yellow one. I copied their newsletter design in it, but it was quite tricky to round up the corners. For the headers all credit goes to SGUL Sikh Soc - good work guys.
The final template features random Gurbani quotes changing at every reload or refresh - very nice idea, I shall think of adopting it for future use.

Now when i click on that on my desktop it opens up the template with a lot of dollar signs..... If I do CTRL A it only highlights the $ signs and does not copy the Nishan Sahib etc.
So please help me step by step please I am a real novice at this. Thanks.
